  • Biologist Biologist is a fully peer-reviewed and citation-listed journal published under the umbrella of the Institute of Biology. It carries articles on a wide range of biological research, including many aspects of climate change. Contains authoritative review articles and topical pieces on science policy, new developments or controversial issues. Aimed at professional biologists, educators and students at all levels, as well as the interested amateur.

  • Carbon Balanced From the World Land Trust, this site offers carbon off-setting for individuals and business. Also offers advice on cutting your own emissions at home.

  • Carbon Management Society Google group run by the University of Edinburgh Carbon Management Society.

  • Clean Air-Cool Planet Everyone can play a part in preventing climate change. See what people and institutions throughout the Northeast (US) are already doing to stop global warming, and find out how you can help.

  • Climate Ark The Climate Ark is a Climate Change Portal and Internet Search Tool that provides access to reviewed climate change and renewable energy news and information. The Climate Ark's premise is that Climate Change is occurring and that policy must be crafted now in response.

  • Climate Change Central.com Climate Change Central builds links and relationships between businesses, governments and other stakeholders in Alberta, interested in pursuing greenhouse gas reduction initiatives.

  • COIN Climate Outreach and Information Network: includes Climate Radio which an excellent range of interviews on climate change-related topics from a host of experts and well known environmentalists.

  • Earthscan Environmental publishers with a range of useful titles covering climate change and greenhouse gas related science.

  • EcoEarth Portal site providing a comprehensive set of links on environmental and sustainability issues.

  • Energy Information Administration Official Energy Statistics from the U.S. Government

  • Environment Canada The Greenhouse Gas Division of Environment Canada is responsible for developing, monitoring, analyzing and reporting emissions and removals of greenhouse gases.

  • Environmental Protection Agency US (EPA) The EPA Global Warming Site is provided as a public service by the US Environmental Protection Agency.

  • GreenChoices GreenChoices encourages everyone in Britain to make ecologically sound decisions in living their everyday lives. They aim to empower individuals with simple, direct information on green alternatives which make a real, lasting difference.

  • Green Providers Directory Portal site with array of links to green products and services. Includes some links to climate change-related news and blogs.

  • Greenheart Project Inspirational site based on the idea to create a carbon neutral cargo ship which will transport food aid, fairtrade produce, and raise awareness of climate change and sustainability. For schools, note the poster competition on the home page - win and you can visit the carbon-neutral ship.

  • GreenNet GreenNet supports a progressive community working for Peace, the Environment, Civil Rights and Social Justice, through the use of Information Communication Technologies (ICTs).

  • Greenpeace International Greenpeace is a non-profit organisation, with a presence in 40 countries across Europe, the Americas, Asia and the Pacific.   • School of GeoSciences, University of Edinburgh Information on teaching and research in the geosciences at the University of Edinburgh.

  • Sciencebase.com Science writer David Bradley's wide ranging science site, including Elemental Discoveries - an online publication featuring regular articles on climate change related science and news.

  • SNIFFER identify and manage environmental research on behalf of our members - the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA), Environment and Heritage Service (EHS), the Scottish Executive, Scottish Natural Heritage (SNH) and the Forestry Commission - and other stakeholders.
